Description
Wanfeng Elementary School, nestled among the mountains of Renai Township in Nantou County, is a rural school primarily attended by Bunun children. On June 26, 2024, we had the privilege of joining a dedicated team of teachers and students from National Cheng Kung University and Dayeh University to visit this school and assist in documenting a vibrant science fair event.
This initiative underscores the importance of bringing quality science education to rural areas, where students often face unique challenges due to their remote locations. By engaging these young minds in hands-on scientific activities, we aim to spark their curiosity and inspire a passion for learning that transcends the boundaries of their environment. Our hope is that through continued efforts like these, we can empower these children with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in an increasingly scientific and technological world.
