Kaohsiung Dagang Bridge located at the Third Harbor in Kaohsiung Port, is Taiwan’s first horizontal rotating bridge. “Da” means great and “gang” means harbor in Chinese. This “Great Harbor” bridge is situated next to Pier-2 Art Center and Dagang Warehouse. The bridge opens precisely at 3 PM and 7 PM every weekend. During summer evenings, as the sun sets, you’ll witness the stunning harbor lights and the beautiful opening and closing of the rotating bridge.
